Benedetto De Benedetti is a mechanical engineer graduated from Turin Politecnico. Benedetto started his career in a project management firm then in 1985 joined KPMG Management Control Unit and, later on, the Corporate Finance Unit. In 1991 moved to Piaggio Group, as Chairman Assistant and Secretary of the Steering Committee.
Since 1994 Benedetto has worked in the private equity industry, initially as equity partner in a large investment company then as founding partner in 2 major Italian funds.
In early 2000 Benedetto and his wife Elisabetta incorporated B&E Equities S.p.A., their holding for direct investments in Italy.
In 2007 B&E Equities incorporated the sub-holding BE International Equities.
Benedetto has over 30 years of investment experience and BoD roles in many industries (mechanical, chemical, logistic, diagnostic in vivo, diagnostic in vitro, healthcare, financial services, consumer goods, fashion, cement and concrete, food, financial real estate, IT, telecommunication, etc.).
Renato Chiono has more than 15 years investment banking and private equity experience. He is graduated from Bocconi University.
Renato in 2003 joined Lazard & Co before as an analyst and then as associate then in 2007 joined J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. as Vice President of the corporate finance team focused on the origination and execution of M&A, ECM and DCM deals for family owned companies.
In 2012 Renato moved to Fondo Italiano di Investimento, an Italian private equity fund specialized on minority investment mainly in expansion capital for Italian SME and investment in private equity and private debt funds.
In 2014, he joined the Fund of Funds team, taking responsibility for deploying more than €300 million in private equity and private debt investments.
Sara De Benedetti holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Turin.
Sara is currently Investment Directors at RING Capital SAS, an asset manager focusing on impact and sustainable investments, where she is responsible for the implementation of the investment strategy for Italy and France.
Prior to join RING Capital SAS, Sara worked for five years at OLTRE Impact SGR, the first impact fund manager in Italy, where she gained extensive experience in social impact investments, impact assessment and deal execution. Sara started her professional career at KPMG making experience in both audit and advisory sectors.
Etienne Deshormes has more than 30 years of investment banking and private equity experience. He graduated in Economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles.
In 1985, Etienne was Assistant to the Executive Director of International Monetary Fund and World Bank in Washington, representing Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Luxembourg and Turkey.
In 1992, he became Head of Corporate Finance of JP Morgan in Brussels and in 1996 moved to London as Head of Equity Capital Markets for France and Belgium.
In 1998, Etienne moved to Zurich Capital Markets as Managing Director.
Since 2004, Etienne is the CEO of Elm Capital Associates Ltd in London, an investment bank specialized in fundraising activity and secondary transactions for private equity funds in Italy, France, Spain, Germany, UK and US.
Stefano Giovannetti has over 25 years’ experience in the securities services and funds sector, including both traditional funds (UCITS) and alternative investment funds, such as hedge, private equity, venture capital and real estate funds.
Stefano spent over 10 years at HSBC Securities Services (Luxembourg) S.A. as a senior manager working on business development and structuring of investment solutions.
Stefano holds a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in law from the Universidad Nebrija in Madrid. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the Università degli Studi di Pisa. Currently he is founding partner of Carat & Partners law firm in Luxembourg.
Jean-Francois Le Ruyet is a part-time Senior Advisory Partner with Quilvest Capital Partners in London.
Jean-Francois is a member of the Global Investment Committee for Private Equity secondary, co-investments and primary funds programs with a focus on growth and buy-out strategies in Europe.
Jean-Francois has over 25 years of experience in PE. He is also an independent board member of a few companies and Private Equity investment vehicles.
Prior to joining Quilvest, Jean-Francois gained strategic consulting experience first with Bain & Company, then with McKinsey, advising PE firms among other assignments.
Jean-Francois is a graduate of HEC in Paris and holds an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Eylon Penchas received his Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the Hebrew University in 1996, and an MBA specializing in finance and marketing in 1999.
Eylon has been a General Partner of Viola Partners, a private equity capital fund affiliate of the Viola Group the Israel’s largest growth equity and venture capital group.
Eylon has served as Director in several public and private companies in Israel, including, amongst others, being Active Chairman of Peninsula Finance Ltd. from 2009-2015, board member of Global Data Center Ltd. and Lumenis Ltd.
In 2021 Eylon founded Israel Legacy Partner, a growth equity fund focused on family businesses generational changes.
